Procedure for Immigration DNA Testing

Step 1: Scheduling the Appointment

Step 2: Sample Collection

Step 5: The Final Report
After the analysis is complete, experts generate a final report stating whether the biological relationship exists. This report is directly sent to the address of the tested party.
In some cases, the embassy itself conducts a special test under a chain of custody procedure. In this process, an embassy official is present during the DNA sample collection until the samples are sealed in a tamper-proof package. Moreover, the final report of this test is sent directly to the embassy instead of the tested party.
