The strike comes after blackouts were issued and sirens heard in Kashmir amid reports of incoming drone attacks.
Indian defence sources said a new wave of drone attacks targeted Indian Kashmir for a second straight evening Friday, including the city of Jammu.
One Indian military official said: “Drones have been sighted in Jammu, Samba” in Indian-administered Kashmir and in Pathankot in neighbouring Punjab.
