Calls for Starmer to resign as Mandelson's properties searched

Former PM Gordon Brown has said Sir Keir Starmer was "misled and betrayed" by former US ambassador Lord Mandelson.

He blamed a "systemic failure" in vetting Mandelson's appointment.

It comes as calls grow both in and outside of the Labour Party for Starmer to step down.
