Two Iranian officials have told Al Jazeera that Tehran is fully prepared for any military confrontation and Iran's readiness eliminates the chance of enemy deception.
The officials said it's a mistake to assume talks with Washington will fully succeed.
They dismissed reports Iran will handover oil fields or mines to the US as part of the negotiations.
The officials also said removing Iran's highly enriched uranium stockpile was not discussed with Washington.
Iran and the United States resumed nuclear negotiations earlier this month in Muscat, followed by another round of talks in Geneva on Tuesday under Omani mediation.
Earlier Iran's President said Tehran will not give in to pressure from the United States, over nuclear talks.
Masoud Pezeshkian's comments come as the US president considers strikes on Iran.
On Thursday, Trump warned “bad things” would happen, if Tehran did not reach a deal within days.
