American bombers have been seen taking off from RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire after Pete Hegseth warned of the "most intense day of strikes inside Iran" to date.
The UK's own HMS Dragon has also left Britain - it's heading for the eastern Mediterranean after a UK base in Cyprus was targeted by drones last week.
And the UK is preparing a second ship for deployment - the RFA Lyme Bay will join the Dragon on the same journey;
Meanwhile, the home secretary has banned a pro-Iranian protest planned for London after police warned of "severe" risks.
In the Middle East itself, US forces have struck 16 "mine-laying boats" near the Strait of Hormuz.
There remains uncertainty about President Trump's objectives for the war after claiming it'll be "ended soon" - only for Hegseth to later stress it'll only end when the US is ready.
