'Potential sale' of landmark Limerick city hotel confirmed
A LANDMARK Limerick hotel may be set to change hands, with confirmation that it is up for 'potential sale'.
The Absolute Hotel in Limerick city and its sister hotel in Kilkenny, the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel, are on the market.
Following a media enquiry, the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel issued a statement that confirms the Absolute Hotel in Limerick is for sale as a "going concern".

"We can confirm that a process is currently underway regarding the potential sale of the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel, the Ormonde Street Car Park and our sister hotel, the Absolute Hotel, Limerick, as a going concern," the statement reads.
The Absolute Hotel is expected to continue operating for the foreseeable future while the potential sale process is underway.
