Irish player wins huge 6-figure sum in EuroMillions draw worth over €150 million
One lucky Irish EuroMillions player is over a quarter of a million euro richer after the EuroMillions draw on Friday night. The lucky punter was one of 10 winners of the Ireland-Only Raffle in Friday’s draw. And while that prize is usually worth €5,000, the National Lottery has added an additional prize of €250,000 for one winner of the Ireland-Only Raffle for all nine EuroMillions draws during the month of May. As a result, the EuroMillions player in question will wake up tomorrow morning a cool €255,000 richer thanks to their winning raffle number - I-SCK-25765. The other nine Ireland-Only raffle numbers, all worth €5,000 apiece, can be seen here. The Ireland-Only raffle numbers aside, over 63,000 Irish people won prizes of some description in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws, ranging from €4 to €2,000. Earlier today, meanwhile, the National Lottery revealed that a Telly Bingo player from Roscommon claimed €65,005 by scooping the Snowball prize with a ticket purchased in Roscommon town. That win followed closely on the heels of another Roscommon success just last week, when a player took home €50,005 with a winning ticket purchased in Ballaghaderreen.
