An anxious-looking Sean Combs has arrived in court to learn how much longer he'll remain in prison for prostitution offenses.

The rapper, better known as Diddy, walked into a Manhattan courtroom wearing an oatmeal-colored sweater and dark pants just after 10am ET Friday.

He was seen waving to his family, then shaking hands with his legal team.

Diddy, 55, smiled as he hugged his lawyer Brian Settel.

His excited-looking family, including his mother Janice, waved back at him.

But the star appeared far more uptight than at previous appearances.

He blew a quick kiss to his loved ones, then stretched his back, exhaled and put on his glasses to pore over legal documents.

Prosecutors want Diddy put behind bars for 11 years after he was convicted of two prostitution offenses in July.

Diddy's defense team says a 14 month sentence is sufficient.

Judge Arun Subramanian has taken a dim view of Diddy's team's prior efforts to get him out on bond while awaiting sentencing, sparking speculation that he could take a similarly hard line on the rapper today.

Diddy himself is due to address the court on Friday as he pleads for the lightest sentence possible.

He did not take the stand at his trial, so today's statement will be the first time Diddy has been heard speaking in public for more than a year.

The once immaculately-groomed singer's jet black hair has gone gray, with his pristine skin also said to have lost its healthy appearance during his time behind bars.

Diddy has been held in custody at a Brooklyn federal facility since September 2024, meaning he'd be home by 2026 if a judge grants his request.
