Anime Vanguards is a tower defense simulator in which you enter different anime-themed worlds, place your powerful units, and upgrade them to defeat incoming waves and bosses. In this Roblox title, Captain Elastic or Money D. Luffy is one of the best unit which can get evelved once with the help of Straw Hat, several essences and gold.

To obtain the Straw Hat, you must complete a questline of three missions that become available after you unlock the Elastic Captain. In this guide, we'll discuss everything that's important to know for its obtainment.

Straw Hat is an evolution item that was introduced in Anime Vanguards with Part 1 of Update 10. It is inspired from an anime series called One Piece in which the main antagonist, Monkey D. Luffy wears a similar hat.

Using Straw Hat along with several Essences and some Gold, you can evolve the Elastic Captain unit to its Elastic Captain (Pirate) form which is currently one of the best DPS unit in game. To obtain this item, you must complete all three Elastic Captain Evo Quests that become available only after you've obtained the Elastic Captain unit by rerolling the summoning gacha.

Elastic Captain (Pirate) stats Rarity: Secret Element: WaterDMG: 5,640SPA: 20RNG: 8 Passive abilities Elastic Man Wind Up: This unit can charge up his attacks, gains 20% damage and 5% range per second spent charging up to 10 seconds max; Every enemy hit by charged attack is Repulsed; Inflicts Wanted on attacking Boss Enemies.King of Pirates: All Pirate category units gain 30% damage while in range of this unit; Anytime an enemy in range is Repulsed, they are marked with Wanted; Enemies with Wanted grant 30% more yen when killed and take 30% more damage from pirate category units.Right Armaments: Immune to Status Effects; If an enemy attempts to inflict a Status Effect on this unit they are Repulsed and decreases spa by 5%; Decreases cost of Pirate allies by 2% per upgrade.

Elastic Captain is a Mythic-tier unit that you can currently obtain by interacting with the Hercool NPC in the Summoning area and rerolling the Special Banner with Gems. The Mythic Pity of this banner is 1 in 400 rerolls.

Step 2: Complete Elastic Captain Evo Quests

After obtaining the Elastic Captain, you'll become able to check the quests and track your progress by tapping on the "Quests" icon. Here are all three Elastic Captain Evo Quests along with the best method to complete them:

Quest 1: Evolve Fire Foot, Skele King and Tempest Pirate How to complete: You can reroll the Special Banner to obtain Fire Foot, Skele King, and Tempest Pirate units. Next, play the Time Moves On, The Epic Clash, and The Pink Villain! stages to obtain their evolution items. Quest 2: Feed Elastic Captain the correct Strange Fruit exp item (5% Chance) How to complete: While completing the first quest, you might recieve several Strange Fruits as rewards. Feeding them to the Elastic Captain would complete this quest. Since the success rate is less, you can also purchase them from the Gold Shop for 1200 Gold. Quest 3: Kill Pink Villain with Elastic Captain How to complete: Participate in The Pink Villain! stage and defeat Pink Villain to obtain the Straw Hat.
