In October 2016, Mohamed Bailor Jalloh pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to ISIS (then called ISIL). He had tried to buy weapons and send money to support ISIS fighters and was reportedly planning a domestic attack. He was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison and was released early in December 2024 under the Biden administration. We knew he was a terrorist, we let him on our streets anyway, and gave him the opportunity to kill one of our veterans on our home soil. I am irate.
