Just moments after Republicans in Texas successfully managed to gerrymander their state to ensure a Republican majority forever, they realized that they had made a huge mistake. It turns out that these geniuses in the GOP didn't realize that they were securing 5 seats with the new districts but also creating a total of TEN new swing districts that could actually see Democrats end up with MORE power than they have now.
