Historic winter storm blasts Northeast bringing heavy snow and travel chaos

More than 40 million people remain under winter alerts, and blizzard warnings stretch more than 600 miles up the Eastern coast. More than 600,000 utility customers are without power across the Northeast. Thousands of flights have been canceled nationwide, with New York-area airports experiencing the most disruptions.
