A series of wrong turns sealed backpacker Celine Cremer’s fate | Australian Story Lost Part 1
On a cold afternoon in June 2023, Belgian backpacker Celine Cremer set out alone on what should have been a short hike in north-west Tasmania. She was never seen again.
After several failed attempts to find Celine, the police suspended the search. But Celine's friends and family never gave up hope of solving the mystery of her disappearance.
Two-and-a -half years later, some of her closest friends joined a team of local volunteers in a major search of the forest where she had disappeared.
In a gripping two-part series, Australian Story follows the team as they scour the rough terrain to retrace Celine's final steps and find the answers they were looking for.
