Shipowners in Asia, the Middle East and Europe greeted the possibility of the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz with both relief and caution as they try to understand the implications of the two-week US-Iran ceasefire which could potentially allow an exit for more than 800 vessels trapped in the Persian Gulf.
