Manhunt underway after convicted rapist escapes custody at Bankstown Hospital | ABC NEWS

Michael Angok, 30, escaped from custody at Bankstown Hospital on Wednesday and remains on the run.
He was convicted of gang raping a 14-year-old girl in a Doonside park in February 2014. He had been scheduled to be deported from Australia and was being held at Villawood Immigration Detention Centre.
NSW Police are on the hunt for the escapee, and anyone with information is urged not to approach him but to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.
