Armed forces minister says defence spending needs to 'go faster' in the UK

Armed forces minister, Al Carns has insisted defence spending needs to "go faster" in the UK.

Speaking to Sky News in the wake of current conflicts in Iran and Ukraine, he said: "The reality is we are increasing defence spending, we've spent more on defence than ever before, it needs to go faster but we've got to make sure we spend that in the right way."
