Australia’s most decorated living soldier, Ben Roberts-Smith, has issued his first statement since his bail release from a Sydney jail, vowing to fight five murder war crime charges and clear his name.
In his address to the media, Mr Roberts-Smith called his arrest at Sydney Airport earlier this month "sensational" and "an unnecessary spectacle".
