US President Trump announces extension to Iran ceasefire and continuation of blockade | BBC News

President Donald Trump says the US will extend the ceasefire with Iran, at the request of Pakistan, and continue the blockade of Iranian ports.

Trump has said the ceasefire will remain in place "until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other".

He added the blockade of Iranian ports will also continue until Tehran presents a "unified proposal".
