On April 13 the US began a naval blockade on Iran to pressure them to open the Strait of Hormuz. Today, the US started an operation ordered by President Trump to guide trapped ships out through the Strait of Hormuz (i.e. ships that were trapped by the Iranian closure of the Strait of Hormuz). The UAE then reported Iran had fired missiles at it. And Iran has reportedly attacked more ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
