Jeremy Doku’s 97th-minute equaliser saw Manchester City hold Everton to a 3-3 draw at a deafening Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday evening.

The winger opened the scoring two minutes before the break with a curling strike from the edge of the area. The Blues then emerged from the tunnel with a response needed, and they got exactly that as a quick-fire brace from Thierno Barry and a bullet header from Jake O’Brien put them in to a 3-1 lead.

It wasn’t to be, though, as Erling Haaland halved the deficit immediately after the restart, with Doku doubling his tally deep in to injury-time.
