US, Iran trade threats over Strait of Hormuz as attack on UAE condemned

Claims and counterclaims between the US and Iran over who controls the Strait of Hormuz continue, after one of the most serious escalations in violence since a ceasefire came into force on April 8th.
The United Arab Emirates says it has intercepted several missiles from Iran.
A fire broke out at a petroleum facility in the port city of Fujairah.
Tehran says it has “no plan to target the UAE.”
