Arouca man known as “Faddy” reported missing after leaving home for Port of Spain.
• Concerns are growing for a 63-year-old Arouca man, after he left home on Tuesday morning and never returned.
• According to family members, around 11:45 a.m. on May 5th, 2026, Toolsie Maraj, also known as “Faddy,” of Forde Street Extension left home saying he was going to Port of Spain to check on work.
Bullets tear through Belmont family: Toddler among three killed, woman wounded in brazen morning attack— 20 spent shells recovered
• A two-year-old child was among three people killed during a horrific shooting attack in Belmont on Thursday morning, leaving residents shaken and investigators hunting for answers.
• Dead are 30-year-old Aquil Kafi of Serraneau Road, Belmont, 28-year-old Anthony Wilson also known as “Monster” of China Town, Upper St Francois Valley Road, Belmont, and two-year-old Akinni Kafi of Serraneau Road, Belmont. Wounded in the attack was 36-year-old Antonia Cain-Kafi of Serraneau Road, Belmont.
• According to police reports, officers assigned to the Belmont Police Station were on mobile patrol around 8:35 am when they received reports of loud explosions in the Serraneau Road area.

J’ouvert murder case moves forward — Diego Martin man remanded in court over fatal Woodbrook stabbing.
• A Diego Martin man has appeared before a Master of the High Court in connection with the murder of 19-year-old Jayden Rouff, who was killed during J’Ouvert celebrations in Woodbrook earlier this year.
• 27-year-old Jalanie Roberts, of Bagatelle Road, was formally charged with murder when he appeared before Master Guerra-Abraham at the Port of Spain High Court on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026.
Home invasion gang busted hours after Williamsville raid — one suspect killed, two arrested in police operation.
• The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) says officers have dismantled another suspected home invasion gang, just days after taking down the so-called “Tall Boots Crew” in Central Division.
• The breakthrough came following a violent robbery at Ben Lomond Village, Williamsville, around 10:08 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026, when four masked men forced their way into the home of a 67-year-old pensioner.
• Two other suspects were arrested — a 24-year-old man from Quarry Road, Gasparillo, allegedly found with a revolver and ammunition, and a 20-year-old man from Union Park East, Marabella, who was reportedly found with a cellphone believed to have been stolen during the earlier Gasparillo home invasion.

• Police are investigating a suspected suicide after the body of a man was discovered hanging at Freedom Street, Cocorite on Wednesday afternoon.
• The deceased has been identified as Michael George, who was said to have no fixed place of abode.
