iPhone 17e DESTROYED by Budget Android | Apple vs Nothing Phone 4a

Reviewing the Apple iPhone 17e vs Nothing Phone 4a, a budget Android smartphone costing over £200 less, which still boasts better camera tech and a superior display. The iPhone 17e is poor value for money compared with cheaper rivals like the Nothing Phone 4a, as this smartphone comparison shows.

That's not to say this Apple blower is second best at everything. The compact design is pleasingly hand-friendly, while the performance is better for gaming on the go. Sadly the 60Hz screen cripples the iPhone 17e, making it feel sludgy and proving less than ideal for gamers and movie fans.

Likewise, the Nothing Phone 4a serves up a proper triple lens camera, unlike the single lens iPhone 17e. The lack of telephoto shooter in particular makes portraits more difficult on Apple's 'budget' smartphone, while night photography is a step backwards.

Battery life is excellent on both of these handsets however, while Apple actually added Magsafe support on the iPhone 17e. And then it's a case of Android vs iOS, which is entirely subjective - although I prefer the open nature of Google's OS.
