Global tensions are escalating as Donald Trump criticizes NATO and U.S. allies while the war involving Iran and Israel intensifies across the Middle East.
Speaking in Washington, Trump accused European allies, including the United Kingdom, as well as Japan and South Korea, of failing to support efforts to secure the vital Strait of Hormuz.
Meanwhile, Iran has launched multiple missile barrages into Israel, with strikes reported in cities including Tel Aviv and near Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
In Lebanon, Israeli airstrikes and ground operations continue against Hezbollah, displacing over a million civilians and killing hundreds. The humanitarian crisis is deepening as infrastructure is destroyed and aid struggles to reach those affected.
Iranian leadership has called for unity and proposed a regional security framework excluding foreign powers, while also issuing warnings to Gulf nations including the United Arab Emirates.
Across the Gulf, countries like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain report drone and missile interceptions, highlighting the widening scope of the conflict.
With no clear diplomatic path forward, the situation risks spiraling into a broader regional war with global consequences for energy, security, and stability.
