‘Ashamed to be British’: Starmer fails to protect UK troops in Cyprus

GB News host Alex Armstrong says UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s decision not to defend British troops in Cyprus has left him “ashamed to be British”.

“That is how it all started,” Mr Armstrong told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

“Emmanuel Macron then twisted the knife in Sir Keir's back by sending a battleship to defend a British base in Cyprus … this whole thing has left me ashamed to be British … we’ve also failed to protect British troops.”
