Iran war | Michael Clarke on Trump postponing strikes on Iranian power plants

Donald Trump says he has instructed the US military to postpone "all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure" following two days of "very good and productive conversations" with Iran.

Writing on Truth Social, the US president said the pause would last for five days and was subject to "the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions".

Washington and Tehran held talks "regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East", Trump said.
