‘He’s got a point’: Tony Abbott says Trump ‘deserves’ Australia’s support in Iran

Former prime minster Tony Abbott claims Australia “should step up” and support US President Donald Trump in Iran.

“I don’t like it when the President is critical of Australia, but he has got a point,” Mr Abbott told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“He remains the leader of the free world, the only leader the free world has, and that’s why he deserves the support of Australia and Britain in particular.”
