Japan, South Korea and Singapore have provided fuel shipment assurances to Australia as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. It comes as Energy Minister Chris Bowen acknowledges that there has been a huge spike in demand for diesel and 283 service stations across Australia have run out. Fuel demand is up 30% over Easter compared to the same period last year.
