The ASX has joined in a global relief rally after the US and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire in the Persian Gulf, which is likely to see oil tankers back on the move through the Strait of Hormuz.
The aggressive risk-on rally sparked a 2.7 per cent jump on All Ordinaries, with miners and banks in demand, while energy stocks plunged in line with oil futures that are back trading below $US100 a barrel.
