Iran ceasefire is 'not over', says Pete Hegseth

US defence secretary Pete Hegseth has insisted that the ceasefire between the US and Iran is not over.

Hegseth said Donald Trump will make a decision over whether any incident represents a violation of the ceasefire and says he would urge Iran "to be prudent in the actions they take".

He added: "Right now the ceasefire certainly holds, but we're going to be watching very, very closely."
