Join your favorite storm chasing couple as we chase a severe weather risk across Texas today! Dangerous supercells will be the initial storm mode, with a giant hail threat, and perhaps a tornado risk. Supercell storms will form near Abilene and Sweetwater before forming into an MCS. Damaging winds will likely become the main threat as these storms move east. The SPC has placed an enhanced risk for this severe weather risk. Abilene, Sweetwater, Dallas, Fort Worth, Waco, and portions of i-20, i-35, and i-45 are at the greatest risk for severe weather today in Texas.

📍 Target Area: Central Texas
🌪️ Main Threats: Large hail (up to softballball size), damaging wind gusts (some up to hurricane force), and a low end tornado risk
⏰ Timing: 1pm Onwards
