Artemis II crew witness 'Earthrise' as they emerge from far side of the Moon
The Artemis II crew has travelled farther from Earth than any humans before, beating a record previously set by Apollo 13.

Here are some of the key moments to expect from the lunar flyby later. The timings below, in UK time, may change based on real-time operations.
Monday, 6 April
11:44 pm: Mission control expects to temporarily lose communication with the crew as the Orion spacecraft passes behind the moon.
11:45 pm: During "Earthset," Earth will glide behind the moon from Orion's perspective.
Tuesday, 7 April
12:02 am: Orion reaches its closest approach to the moon at 4,070 miles above the surface.
12:07 am: Crew reach their maximum distance from Earth during the mission.
12:25 am: "Earthrise" marks Earth coming back into view on the opposite edge of the moon.
12:25 am: NASA's Mission Control Center should re -acquire communication with the astronauts.
