An Ao Tanaka goal and Dominic Calvert-Lewin penalty put the visitors 2-0 up, before 12 minutes of additional time onto the 90. West Ham had answers, scoring two goals in three minutes to force extra-time in dramatic fashion. In the additonal period, the hosts had two goals disallowed for offside, before the tie went all the way to penalties, which saw Leeds United come out on top thanks to two Lucas Perri saves.
