Donald Trump torches Australia for ‘not helping’ the US amid Iran war

US President Donald Trump has expressed frustration with Australia over a lack of assistance provided in the Iran war.

Since the outbreak of conflict, Australia has refrained from participating in offensive actions against the regime.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has previously maintained the US has not asked him to do otherwise.

Despite this, Australia was singled out by President Trump during a rant about NATO.

“Australia didn’t help us,” he said during a media conference on Monday, local time.
