This is the 992.2 generation Porsche 911 GT3, and it’s now available with a new Manthey Performance Kit. Which might mean nothing, but Manthey has been at the pinnacle of making Porsche race cars go faster on track for 30 years. In fact, it’s so good that Porsche took a controlling stake in 2013, charged them with running its GT race cars at Le Mans, and now sells Manthey upgrades for road cars – like this Performance Kit – through official dealers. They’re big money parts, but they make cars like the 911 GT3 better – and better from an already high bar. But might a GT3 Manthey now be better than Porsche’s own GT3 RS?
