Britain became the first country to donate long-range, precision-strike weapons to Ukraine when it began handing over Storm Shadow cruise missiles in 2023. Since then, they have been used to attack Russia’s most-vulnerable and best-defended bases: They have killed at least one general and wounded another, blown up tons of ammunition, destroyed a submarine and two ships, and even taken down a bridge.
