Essa Suleiman charged with attempted murder over Golders Green terror stabbing

A 45-year-old man has been charged with three counts of attempted murder, police have announced.

Essa Suleiman, a British national born in Somalia, was arrested after Wednesday's stabbings in Golders Green, north London and a separate incident earlier in the day.

He also faces a charge of possession of a bladed article in a public place and will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
