‘We’re a liability’: Australia deemed useless in helping US with Iran war
Sky News contributor Michael Kroger thinks it is a good thing US President Donald Trump does not want Australia’s help with the Iran war.
“None of the ships that we have would be of any use in the Middle East in the Strait of Hormuz,” Mr Kroger told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“The only ship we could send is probably a liability because it doesn’t have an updated missile capacity to repel attacks.
“Australia is completely incapable of defending itself if we were attacked.
“It’s fundamentally disappointing to see what these NATO countries are doing.”
